  Mon - Fri: 10 am to 5 pm Sat: 10 am to 3 pm   Sun: Closed

Adoptions

All cats and kittens live comfortably at CatNap until the right human companion comes along.  There is no time limit for any animal.

We are committed to finding the right home for every animal and to taking the time to carefully match the needs and the personalities of both people and adopted animals.  We strive to ensure that all of our animals are adopted into suitable environments.

All cats are FELV-FIV negative and have current FVRCP.  These are the recommended tests and shots needed to ensure a healthy, long life for your companion cat.

Adult cats, six months and older, are spayed or neutered.  Kittens may not be spayed or neutered; however, we offer low-cost surgery at the time of maturity.

All cats are micro-chipped to allow for easy identification should a cat ever become separated from you.

Since many of our cats are owner give-ups, a number of them may be de-clawed or vaccinated against rabies.

We hope that as a responsible pet owner, you will keep your cats as
indoor-only companions.  The dangers of disease or injury from outdoor living are many.

We also have rabbits, guinea pigs and other small mammals, and birds available for adoption. 

Please feel free to drop by during our regular hours to fill out an adoption application and to talk with an adoption counselor.

If you can no longer take care of your cat or have found a stray, please call us to discuss the situation and to find out if we can help you!

 

 


 

 

Adoption Fees:

$100 and up per kitten / cat
 

Cat care kits are available for $25.00

Call for fees on rabbits, guinea pigs and other small mammals, and birds.

Please remember that adoption fees allow CatNap to continue to help the many, many small animals that come to us in crisis or in need of help.  Your generosity allows us to continue providing safe housing and hope for all our animals!

 

CatNap from the Heart is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) shelter dedicated to promoting respect for all animals through education, shelter, rehabilitation, and adoption. We receive no city, county, state or federal funds.  All donations are tax-deductible.
