Wanted:
Two-legged owners for four-legged friends
CatNap is in search of a few good owners for
their four-legged residents. CatNap has joined efforts with 1,200
shelters around the world to host the annual Home 4 the Holidays
adoption campaign, sponsored by The Iams Company, PETCO Animal
Supplies, Inc., PETCO Foundation, and Helen Woodward Animal Center,
November 15 through January 2.
“The first Home 4 the Holidays in 1999 was a
tremendous success,” Bobbi Meyer, Director of CatNap, says. "More
than 2,500 pets world-wide found loving homes during the event.
Every year, the number of adopted pets has increased. This
year, our goal at CatNap is to find good adoptive homes for at least
one hundred shelter residents."
All pets adopted during Home 4 the Holidays 2007 will go home with
their new family and an adoption gift certificate which can be
redeemed at their local PETCO stores for an Adoption Gift Booklet.
The coupons can be used for a ‘holiday meal’ of Iams dog or cat
foods and other great items.
"The staff here at CatNap is specially trained and can help families
choose the perfect pet for their personalities and lifestyles," said
Meyer.
Special activities will be held to celebrate Home 4 the Holidays
2007, including the LaGrange Park Holiday Walk and the CatNap
Holiday Open House and Adoptathon. Click

Maggie's Tree

resident cat at CatNap, and she loves to see her tree filled with
pretty ornaments.
