Dr. Chrissy obtained her veterinary degree from the University of Illinois after completing her undergraduate work in Biology at Augustana College. She has always had a passion for shelter medicine and surgery after starting as a volunteer during high school at CatNap. Her residency included working at many shelters and participating in spay and neuter clinics statewide.

She grew up locally in LaGrange Park and has experience working with cats and dogs, as well as exotic animals. In her spare time, she loves spending time not only with her own cats, but her foster kittens.  She also enjoys spending time outdoors and playing the piano.  Her main passion includes providing quality low cost veterinary care and reducing and taking care of the homeless animal population.
